I didn’t get to the Lincoln Steampunk Festival, but I’ve heard some very good things about it. Luckily my newest friend; a young lady by the name of Laura Steele, was in attendance and she has kindly donated her pictures for us to peruse. I’ve not included the full set, so that you can go and visit her blog and see what other wonderful things she has to talk about: Laura Steele Illustration

I tell you, she has posted a photograph of the most wonderous T-Shirt! If anyone will send me one of them in XL, I would be most gracious. I’ll even buy you a cup of tea and a slice of Battenburg the next time I see you.
Thank you so much!! Also the T-shirt was made by myself using my own design with iron on transfer paper. It’s not very permanent though otherwise I would quite happily make one for you. I’m hoping to set up my own screen printing in the near future which will allow me to make better T-shirts, So I will let you know then when I can send you one 😀 thanks again! Laura
Hi Laura, wow what a design! If you do go for the printing side of things and run a steampunk line, I’ll do a story on it for you to get you some exposure. Just email steampunkjournal@yahoo.com even if you want to say hi. :0)
Matt
That would be fantastic!! Thanks so much 😀 keep up the great blog :-{D
Laura
Thank you, it is gaining momentum, I just need to add more original content. Btw, it looks like the tea and battenburg will be yours. ;O)
I’m sure it will take off! Steampunk is such a fascinating subject. 😀 oh no is it bad that I don’t like tea or battenburg :O I would especially suck in a tea drinking duel 😦 :p
Haha, no that’s quite alright, my dear. You’re a coffee drinker then, by default? You must also like some kind of cake? It’s the least I can do in exchange for a T-Shirt!
Haha no I’m a pretty failed illustrator too I don’t drink coffee either! I get my cafeine fix from the evil coca cola corporation :p I like angel cake though or chocolate cake 😀 the t-shirt is on me anyway for having a great blog and good taste in t-shirts ;D
