
Well another week is passed and here is a round up of the news that’s been stuffed into my intray throughout that period. This week you can look on in awe at a review of The Chaos Engine video game, an excerpt from a new steampunk book and arguably one of the worst uses of the word steampunk I’ve come across yet.
The Renton Reporter has posted an article on the Old Renton Book Exchange holding another “Sardonic Salon” event with steampunk being the theme.
The Sacramento Bee has posted 14 images of the Virginia City Victorian Steampunk Ball
Fastcompany.com have reported on the dubious use of the word “steampunk” after someone has called their streamlined, chrome covered coffee maker The Steampunk.
NJ.com have reported on the upcoming Steampunk City festival in Historic Speedwell.
IO9 have posted an excerpt from the new novel The Casebook of Newbury & Hobbes by George Mann. It looks to be a very good read.
Anyone that didn’t attend Riverfest (myself included) missed out on a fine display of lighting by Steampunk Lighting.
Diehardgamefan.com have reviewed steampunk inspired video game The Chaos Engine.
Geekexchange.com have found Kromore 2145. A space-set RPG with steampunk elements.
