Good day everyone, I hope you all had a merry Christmas and are looking forward to more festivities at the New Year. In the meantime, feast your eyes on marvels from around the globe such as a Dieselpunk motorbike that could have been mislabelled, an article on steampunk heroines and one reporter’s annoyance at having to buy young adult novels because they’re better than ones for his own age group. Enjoy.

Massively have reported on a new steampunk themed video game called Second Wind: City of Steam: Arkadia.

The Telegram has written an article on Jay Kristoff’s “Stormdancer”. It’s a novel featuring Japanese steampunk. The only drawback is that the 40 year old reporter is scared of buying the teen novel.

There’s an article on about an artist that doesn’t use steampunk as a theme despite being described as such for her use of clock gears.

The team at nerdreactor have written a story highlighting how splendid women are in steampunk literature.

Finally, autoevolution have collected a series of photographs displaying a delightful motorbike called the “Steampunk Racer”. Arguably, it’s more dieselpunk, but I’ll let you make your own mind up.
