British Steampunk sweethearts BB Blackdog are the centre of Day 7’s bonanza steampunk giveaway on Steampunk Journal. For many years Derby based BB Blackdog have entertained steampunks and have been a driving force in the music sector of the British steampunk scene.
Aside from their music, they organise and arrange steampunk events, such as the Steampunk Solstice, the Phoenix Alternative Festival and Steampunk illuminations. If that wasn’t enough, they run the not-for-profit Steampunk Records which not only helps get steampunk music out to the masses, but also raises money for charity.
Steal the Show is a film that took two years to make. Filmed in the UK and Germany, it follows the story of “The Gimp Dog” the members of the Band, Death, Udo and a group of Girls, who all feel compelled to make their way to a small Beach Bar and play/watch a BB BlackDog concert.
With Flying Saucers, Boat trips, fantastic Countryside, and a lot of Humour, it Nicely draws a line under the “Stefan” years, prior to him being replaced by John “Baron von Gimphausen” Ferguson.
