The New Jacobin Club were one of the first people to donate to the April Mammoth Steampunk Giveaway. They sent two albums and the first one I gave away on the 3rd April. Now as we come to a close on this huge month long giveaway, I’ve saved them for the penultimate slot. The final slot will be revealed tomorrow and joins the triangle of founding steampunk authors together.

You can find out more about the band by clicking on their advert to the right of this article (or underneath depending if you’re using a mobile device on full site mode). It takes you to a place to sign up to their newsletter and get some free music. If you can’t see the image, use the link below.

Soldiers of the Mark

When we contacted them to ask for a download of a single for the giveaway, they immediately sent two albums and a bunch of postcards. Today’s prize is a CD copy of Soldiers of the Mark album and a few postcards. The album features songs such as The Mark, Angel MMXIV and Champagne Ivy. The album was scored 9 out of 10 in our review and we said

“the energy of the album – as well as it’s seemingly nostalgic feel – add to its appeal and this is definitely one for the collection.”

The item to be given away on 3rd April is a copy of Soldiers of the Mark album by The New Jacobin Club.

I’d like to extend my personal thanks to The Horde and the rest of the band for donating this prize for the giveaway.
