I live in Germany, so I don’t make it back to the USA all that often. That means I try to squeeze every ounce out of my time there!
March 23 in Ann Arbor, MI, I’m having my first ever book signing and launch party to celebrate the release of my first two novels, Riftmaker and No Rest for the Wicked. From 5-8PM, I’ll read some excerpts, sign books, and mingle with readers at the Crazy Wisdom Bookstore and Tea Lounge. Then we’ll head around the corner to the Arbor Brewing Company for some stronger imbibables and a 19th century trivia game for some sweet prizes. You can get all the details at the Facebook event page.
Next, I’ll be making a return visit to the International Steampunk Symposium in Cincinnati, OH from March 29-31. I’m going to be moderating a pair of “Intro to Steampunk” panels with some other authors and makers. I’ll also be a guest on panels in the literature track to talk about my experiences in the publishing world reading my favorite page of my own works. Plus, I’ve expanded my Egyptomania lecture to include the 1920s and the resurgence of the style after the Victorian era obsessions. I hope to see you there!
