New side-scrolling Steampunk/Dieselpunk adventure game
With the soft launch of FAR already on us through Steam, GOG and Humble Store, the steampunk/dieselpunk themed side-scroller has proved popular in reviews.

Your little character has to navigate it’s way across the stark terrain in an interesting vehicle. The player has to keep their eye on various issues regarding the running of the vehicle such as fuel and heat build up. All while overcoming obstacles in the terrain.

Push Square magazine reported that it’s an eerie game due to it being so quiet. there are no enemies, just the obstacles to overcome. That style is similar to Unravel in which you have to use your deductive prowess over fighting ability.
The video above shows a sample of the video, and it does look like it’s going to be a gorgeous game to play. The soundtrack and digital artwork is also available as DLC. You can bundle them with the game for a discount. But make sure you listen to the soundtrack first on Spotify, Bandcamp, Google Play and iTunes Store.
The music is wonderfully atmospheric. There’s 21 tracks on the album, usually lasting around the 3-4 minute mark. Though some are shorter.
This is a game that I will be playing in the coming weeks. It’s released on PS4 and xBox across America and Europe from April 2nd, 2019. Keep looking in the reviews section for this.
