LOS ANGELES, CA — MARCH 1, 2016 — A new Kickstarter campaign has been launched by Dragabok, an independent comics producer, in an attempt to turn a screenplay by LA based screenwriter David Alton Hedges into a ten issue comic book miniseries. Titled Arcane Sally & Mr Steam, the story focuses on Lord Percival Cawthorne, an American born agent of the British Crown, his butler Runnymede and a mysterious agent called Miss Sally who is assigned to assist Lord Cawthorne solve a mystery. Cory Graham has posted a number of watercolour paintings of corsets and Victorian women. He lists his inspiration as the expressionist era and it certainly shows. The paintings are for sale and would look great on the wall of a boutique or in a boudoir. Available as 8×10 or 9×12 inch prints, they cost around $50 each. Steampunk artist featured in new book

Local artist Camryn Forrest is featured in a new edition of author Art Donovan‘s The Art of Steampunk that’s coming out this month. It’s already received extreme praise from publications like Wired and New York Journal of Books for its inclusive look at steampunk, a genre that is growing in size everyday. Forrest specializes in snow globes and water globes that contain miniature and “curious” inventions.
