Swedish developer Image & Form have released a trailer for their Nintendo 3DS platformer SteamWorld Dig, which is scheduled for release tomorrow in the U.S., Europe and Australia. SteamWorld Dig takes place in a steampunk world where humanity has been all but wiped out, and the world is inhabited by mechanical lifeforms instead. Steampunk contest close to ending

Steampulpfantasy.com have announced that there’s only two weeks until the end of their Steampunk it! competition. The challenge is to create something and send it to them in the form of a photograph, drawing, text, podcast, video etc. So essentially, you don’t even need to make it. Considering that steampunks are voracious in their appetite for assimilation of modern products, it’s going to be a rough ride. Still, why not tootle over and have a go. Steampunk themed computer game

It’s easy for one to jump on the bandwagon and create a product based on the current trend. So I’ll have to leave it up to you to decide whether this game is actually steampunk or not, simply because I don’t play them. The game is called Unnamed 101 and instead of power up levels, it has Castes where you can improve your class standing. I like the idea of that, but I’m unsure of whether I could start a game as a prole.
